Gemini Nano is the smallest variant of Google's Gemini family, designed to run on-device on Pixel and qualifying Android devices. Used for Pixel features like Magic Editor, summarization in Recorder, and Smart Reply. Tensor G4+ silicon includes a dedicated NPU partition for Nano inference; older Pixel chips run a quantized version with reduced capability.
