Specdex Editorial Collective
Reviews are produced collaboratively — benchmarks by our lab, context and commentary by our editors, methodology by our research team. Individual contributor bylines appear on substantive long-form pieces; rankings are collective work.
Quarterly retest cycle
Devices are re-tested every quarter and within 14 days of any major firmware update. The benchmark pipeline runs Geekbench 6, 3DMark, GFXBench, PCMark, and our own long-term battery and thermal harness.
Live catalog on Cloudflare D1
Every review and comparison on Specdex is rendered live from our D1 database at the edge. Adding or updating a product takes effect globally within minutes — no stale builds, no rebuild cycle.
