IP68
Dust-tight + sustained water immersion (IEC 60529).
IP68 is a rating from the IEC 60529 standard. The "6" means dust-tight (no ingress); the "8" means the device survives continuous immersion deeper than 1 meter for at least 30 minutes — manufacturers specify their own depth (1.5 m for some, 6 m on rugged builds). Note: warranty *typically excludes* water damage even on IP68-rated devices, since seals degrade over time.
