GDDR6

6th-gen graphics memory — 14-21 Gbps per pin.

GDDR6 is the predecessor to GDDR7 and the memory used on RTX 30/40 mid-range GPUs and the entire RDNA 2/3 stack. Speeds: 14-21 Gbps per pin. GDDR6X (NVIDIA-exclusive on RTX 30/40 high-end) bumped to 19-24 Gbps using PAM4 signaling. By 2026, mid-range cards still ship with GDDR6/GDDR6X while flagships have moved to GDDR7.
