Third-party reference ↗Start with the tradeoffs
Consider Arc B580 for
- Incredible $/frame at 1440p
- 12 GB VRAM on a budget card
- Modern AV1 + XeSS 2
Tradeoff: PCIe 4.0 x8 interface (not x16) — bottlenecks on PCIe 3.0 boards
Consider RTX 3070 Ti for
- DirectX support: 12_2
- Recorded GPU clock: 1575 MHz
Tradeoff: Card dimensions, cooling and power limits can vary by implementation; check the exact model.
Scores and judgments are editorial. Specdex does not run an in-house benchmark lab. Manufacturer claims and independent measurements may use different test conditions.
